With regard to the events of October 7th, 2023 in Israel, we would like to express our deep condolences and sympathy to everyone involved.
In an unprecedented attack by Hamas (Palestinian terrorist organization) on the Supernova Festival (Universo Parallel Festival Teaser), around 260 participants were brutally murdered on the festival grounds. Many more were subsequently kidnapped and taken to the nearby Gaza Strip. Most of them are still missing any trace or sign of life.
We find it hard to understand why an event at which people from many different countries of all ages, skin colors, denominations and other backgrounds become the focus of terrorists in order to cause a bloodbath for no reason.
As at most events of this kind, life itself, freedom, friendship across existing borders and the arts, especially music, were celebrated here.
In a place like this, people from all different backgrounds were murdered, raped, humiliated and kidnapped. A unique event in the history of psychedelic culture events worldwide! Nothing could be more disturbing, frightening and utterly disgusting. Ultimately, all that remains is deep sadness: about what happened and how it could have come to this.
In a shattered world in which geopolitical tensions are increasing and a renewed West-East bloc is fragmenting societies; in which climate change demands more from everyone than can be achieved objectively in a correspondingly short period of time, in which families and former (sometimes long-standing) friendships fall apart due to different opinions and viewpoints on these topics, it is increasingly difficult to openly share and express viewpoints to hope for an objective and dignified discourse.
The world is increasingly losing the virtue of listening to one another. She forgets that the other person should be shown respect despite possibly alternating views on the same topic. In the end, it's never about agreeing with one another, but rather being able to understand the other person's point of view in order to ultimately be able to make the best of it - together. Because this is the only way we are strong; This is the only way to overcome the challenges of our time.
In order not to get further political or otherwise excessive at this point, let me just note the following:
We stand for PEACE. LOVE. UNITY. RESPECT. … no matter what!

As we sadly heard that Babaji Gil (GoaGil) passed away shortly, we felt like loosing a father, one of the architects of modern dance floor music, a master of ceremony, a friend, a musician and at least a part of history.
Seeing the world stumble in a downward spiral, this news shocked even more.
Rest in peace Gil! Have a save trip to & in microcosm. May the force be with you!
